O’ahu’s Equine Legacy is Under Attack
Preserve Koko Crater Stables as Oʻahu’s public equestrian community recreation resource.
Tell City officials to preserve the land in use by the current equine provider and protect it from proposals of competing interest.
The Koko Crater Stables area has been dedicated to horsemanship activities since 1962. It is more than a facility. It is a place for horses, keiki, families, riders, volunteers, learning, and community connection.
Help us encourage a cooperative solution rather that the elimination of a historically relevant and therapeutic resource for all of O’ahu.

Save the Stables.

An Irreplacable Public Resource
Koko Crater Stables has served Oʻahu’s equestrian community for decades. It offers something that cannot easily be rebuilt elsewhere: existing horse facilities, an established setting, community knowledge, and a living connection between people and animals.
For many children and families, horses are teachers. They build confidence, patience, responsibility, empathy, and respect for living things.
Once an equestrian resource is removed, replacing it requires land, specialized infrastructure, experienced care, funding, and years of effort. We should protect what Oʻahu already has.

Join us in preserving this public resource.
